How to fix an API token problem

If the app cannot sync data, asks you to log in again, or reports an API token problem, replace the token saved in the desktop app.

  1. Open TimeCamp Profile Settings and copy your current API token.
  2. Open the menubar app and click Settings....
  3. Click the Configure in Account integrations section.
  4. Remove the token (make it empty)
  5. Click Back to settings and close the settings window.
  6. Open main window, you should see Onboarding dialog, where you can enter the new API token.

How to change or disable global keyboard shortcut

You can change or turn off the global shortcut in the app settings:

  1. Open the menubar app and click Settings...
  2. Click the ⚙️ icon for Timesheet or Assistant
  3. Scroll to Keyboard Shortcuts
  4. Set a new shortcut or disable the global shortcut
