How it works
AI Time Tracker is a local-first desktop app that records activity data (apps, window titles, screenshots/OCR if enabled) on your device and uses AI to generate task suggestions and productivity features.
Data storage
- All data stored locally on your device
- Includes: computer activity history (process name, window title, URL), AI outputs, settings, screenshots/OCR text (if enabled), API keys
Data sharing
- AI features: Sends only necessary context to your selected AI provider
- Analytics: PostHog (EU) receives product usage data (no business data)
- No continuous uploading of your activity database
Your control
- Enable/disable screenshots and OCR
- Choose AI provider
- Control third-party integrations
Privacy commitment
- No sale or rental of your data
- No advertising or behavioral tracking
- No routine access by company personnel
- Local-first by default, no computer usage data is uploaded to our servers
- No LLM training on your data, we don't have access to it
- Zero data retention for LLM processing

AI-generated output
- AI suggestions and outputs are provided "as is" without warranties. They may be inaccurate or unsuitable. You must review all AI-generated content before use.
Third-party providers
- Features may use third-party AI, analytics, and integration providers. By using these features, you authorize sending necessary data to these providers.
User responsibility
- You're responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws, workplace policies, and confidentiality obligations.
Assistant feature
- Provided "as is" without warranties
- Output may be inaccurate or misleading
- You're solely responsible for reviewing and verifying output
- You're responsible for data you submit and compliance with laws
- We are not responsible for any loss, liability, or damage arising from your use of the assistant feature or reliance on AI-generated output
